When you book a clean, we hold that slot for you and only you. Here is the honest story behind our reschedule window — why it exists, what it covers, and how almost every client avoids the late fee entirely.
The honest version
We are a small team, so your slot is a real commitment.
PenguinPro is a small, owner-operated Savannah business — not a franchise with a bench of crews to shuffle around. When you choose a day and time, we block it off, plan our route around it, and turn down other work to keep it open for you. That is what lets us send the same dedicated cleaner every visit instead of whoever happens to be free.
The flip side is simple math: when a clean is cancelled at the last minute, we usually cannot refill that block on the same day. The time — and the income the cleaner planned around it — is gone. We would rather be upfront about that than bury it in fine print or pad every price to cover the no-shows, the way larger companies quietly do.

Reschedule or cancel any visit at no charge as long as you let us know at least 24 hours ahead. No questions, no hassle — life happens, and a day’s notice gives us time to fill the slot.
A $50 fee inside 24 hours
Cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice and a $50 late-cancellation fee applies. It is not a penalty — it partly covers the reserved time we held and could no longer fill, so the cleaner is not left with an empty day.
That is the whole policy. There is no long-term contract, no auto-renew trap, and no cancellation “tier” — just a single, predictable rule that respects both your schedule and the person showing up to clean your home.
The easy part
How clients almost never pay the fee
We send reminders ahead of every visit, so the date is never a surprise. If your week shifts, just reply to that reminder, reply to your booking confirmation, or call us at (912) 742-9643 — as long as it is more than a day out, moving your clean costs nothing.
Recurring clients can pause a visit or shift a week whenever they need to; the fee only ever comes up for true last-minute changes. In practice, the vast majority of our clients never see it. We would much rather move your clean than charge you for missing it.
